FOLLOW ME!

I've moved!! You can now find me in Florida...or here:

This is the end of a lot of things, including "World of Maddox." But it's the beginning of even more things. The new blog is for me, Mom, and Dad (and eventually the new baby too). Follow me!http://seetherrellgo.blogspot.com/

I told Abbie goodbye today. But I didn't actually say goodbye because, well, it's not forever. I'll be back to steal her 4-wheeler or pop her in the head one of these days. She'll always be my buddy. And I'll miss the rest of my family, too, but I have to go with Mom and Dad. If you can't see me enough in real life, keep up with me on the new blog. I won't let you down!

Love,
Maddox

RIBBIT

I have seen bright green frogs in books, but never tasted one...until today, when Mimi and Grandpa brought this to my house. I took one bite and decided he was too cute to eat. -maddox

SNOW DAY

The weatherman told the truth this time - white fluffy powder fell from the sky and turned Nana and Papa's yard into a winter wonderland.
I had to wear a pair of socks and a pair of slippers on my hands, but it was ok because I got to ride on a sled pulled by Papa! This must be what Santa feels like every year...except his sled flies, which would be a little more fun. -maddox

These are like my superman shoes.
They make me fly.

same ol' Maddox

It's been a while since you've seen a picture of me on here, but I still look about the same. I still like the same things, too. Like..hanging upside down.
...wearing my red hat...

---and riding my 4-wheeler 24/7. -maddox

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY

I did not stay up for the Super Bowl. But...I did enjoy cheese sticks and celery. Maybe next year I can watch it with Dad!

p.s. Why no picture? Ask Mom. She has been lazy about charging the camera battery. Looks like my little brother or sister is already wearing her out!

make-believe.

I threw up four times lastnight. It was really really awful and my stomach hurt bad. Today I feel better, but I just lounged around on the couch and thought of happier days...like when Cousin Abbie came over and we built a make-believe tent. -maddox

LATE NIGHT SILLYNESS

Sometimes, I get really silly at night.
And Mom joins in. Here, she stole my hat and I stole her moisturizer.
But it's all in fun. -maddox

PACI REHAB

I once had seven pacis. I loved them...to the point of addiction. I would have one in my mouth and one in each hand. I decided to have some fun with them, so I threw a couple in the dog bowl one day. The next day, I aimed for the toilet.
The last one went into the toilet and I haven't seen it since. Mom told me it was gone and that I didn't need it anymore.
Now, I am paci-free. This is day #2 of no paci. I don't miss it during the day, but at night, I crave it. I think even Mom wished my paci would come back from the toilet lastnight. At 2 am, she tried to help me out. "Just suck your fingers, your thumb!" No way.

I do like being a "big boy" now...but listen, if you see a white and black checkered paci, could you please sneak it my way? -maddox

GOODBYES

Sometimes, goodbyes are short...like at the end of a playdate. "Goodbye, Abbie, see you in a few days."
And sometimes, goodbyes are long...like when someone moves far far away. Uncle Jody is going to Afghanistan and it might be a whole year before I see him again. I will miss him a lot. And his iphone. -maddox

8 WEEKS

Dad was here for 2 weeks and it was great having another guy around. He even let me wear his Air Force cap. He had to go back to Texas the very first day of the new year, but in 8 weeks, we'll all be together again!
