TWO TEETH

Since I was 2 months old, I've gnawed on everything that happens to get near my mouth. I think it's finally paying off. Two hard white spots have popped through my bottom gum.

It hurts, but when they come through, I'm going to look so cool with my new teeth. Oh, this is after my second bath today. I had some pretty messy accidents and the diaper didn't do its job. Lucky for Mom, Dad was keeping me when the first accident happened. Poor Dad!

GOOD SIGHTS, WEIRD BITES

It was 71 degrees yesterday. I got to wear my sandals for the first time and that made me happy.

See? Yikes, my legs are really white though.

After I helped Mom do her shopping at Target, I tried out my high chair. Mom gave me something in a jar called "beef with vegetables" but it smelled more like dogfood.


It tasted OK...

...but the smell really worried me. So most of it ended up on my face and clothes instead of in my mouth. -maddox

MORE SHOTS

I made the mistake of falling asleep at the doctor's office. Five minutes later, a nurse woke me up ...jabbing a big shot into my leg!

But the pain didn't last long.
I started thinking about dinner and it made me happy. Mom buys me this delicious food in little jars. So far I've loved apples, pears, peaches, bananas, prunes, squash, sweet potatoes, green beans, carrots, and peas. I haven't come across anything yet that I won't eat. Mom is hoping I will stay a good eater. And I will, 'cuz I want big, strong muscles!

BIG BED

I can see almost the whole world from the top of Mom and Dad's new bed.

Mom and me bounced on it today...

... and acted really silly. (Those are my pants on Mom's head)

I giggled a lot.

Dad and me chilled out. I asked if I could trade my bed for theirs, but I don't think that's going to happen.... -maddox

A CASE OF IDENTITY THEFT

I think this Cupid kid stole my look.

I mean, blonde hair, blue eyes and rosy fat cheeks...that's me. But trust me, I don't have hearts on my diaper. That's so girly.

PLAYTIME

Don't even ask about what happened to my other rug. Here is my new one. I look a little lost on it as I listen to my Baby Einstein CD.

BYE BYE GERMS

I am feeling like my old self - almost. I woke up wide awake at 5:30 a.m., drank 10 ounces of milk (I had to make up for lost time, you see), and was ready to play. Notice in this picture that I look bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as I grab for Mom's camera. I shared my germs with Mom and Dad, but they still love me. Mom even let me play with her camera after this picture. I am into everything that I can get my hands on. Too bad my feet don't work yet.

FIRST COLD

So I've got my first cold...

at just 5 months old.

And this is how I feel about germs.

It's Day #4 and I'm pretty upset that I still feel sick. Sharing is a nice thing, but when it comes to germs, no thanks.

I'll admit it, all I want is my mommy. Toys don't impress me right now. But all the frustration did inspire some cool jams on my piano. -maddox

I started making this face yesterday while eating pears. I haven't stopped.

I got a pair of loafers. They look kinda like Dad's. I think they make me look older, don't you?

Of course, the drooling gives my age away. Darn.

Oh well. I guess growing up takes time. I can wait. -maddox
