HAPPY TURKEY DAY

Today was my very first Thanksgiving. I didn't quite know what to think. There were so many new faces and so much food that I couldn't eat...including two big turkeys. I learned a turkey makes the "gobble gobble" sound. I noticed EVERY detail of the day and was pretty much worn out by the afternoon (see the pic of me passed out on Aunt Joanne).

I've never gotten so much attention by so many people at once. Talk about a ladies man! Here I am with Cousin Haleigh, Aunt Erica and Cousin Abbi (in the belly).

I liked it when Grandma held me...
I wanted to eat the buttons on her sweater. But the best part of the day? That was definitely Aunt Nancy. Every time she said something to me I laughed out loud. Really LOUD. It made everyone else laugh too. I must say, I have a pretty good family and am a very lucky little boy! -maddox

A BAD HABIT

I've given up spitting up and replaced it with drooling (notice the stain right between my chin and that center football). I also have taken a liking to gnawing on my fingers. If this is the start of teething, then I say bring it on! Getting some teeth will mean that maybe I can get some better food...though, for now, I'll take my milk and not complain! -maddox

SANTA'S LITTLE HELPER

I wore my red suit today...hoping that Santa might call me up and ask me to be, oh, I don't know, one of his honorary elves or even a back-up reindeer.
But on second thought, with these chubby cheeks, I don't think I'd make a good elf. Maybe next year? -maddox

SATURDAY VISIT

Today I hung out with yet ANOTHER set of grandparents! I talked and smiled a lot...and by 7:00...I was worn out!
But I sure did enjoy all of the attention. I am one lucky little guy! -maddox

A LADIES MAN

I don't know why men think that bridal showers are boring and for women only. I went to one today and found that they are quite fun. (Note: That baby to the right of the bride-to-be is not me. I am not that big just yet. That's Judah...we were the only boys there.)
And that's Lesley, the bride-to-be. Mom says she remembers when Lesley was just a baby like me!
See, if you are a guy at one of these women events, then you get tons of attention.

I probably won't like them when I'm older, but for now, I'll tag along with Mom and charm the ladies. -maddox

BLONDE OR RED?

Sometimes my hair looks red...and sometimes blonde. I wish it would make up its mind. maddox

MISSING LINK?

A good family friend gave me my first DVD: Curious George. This is my best impression of him. Pretty good, don't you think? -maddox

WALKIN' ON SUNSHINE

Looks like Mom uploaded these pictures in reverse order...so anyway, today Mom, Dad and my furry sisters (they look nothing like me, but apparently we have the same parents) went for a walk by the lake. I rode in a carrier and as you can see below, fell asleep as they headed home.
This is one of the sisters I was talking about. She never says a word, but likes to sniff my feet.

There is Cheyenne again. And it looks like Dad is having a hard time keeping up with her!

Oh, look. It's Mom, me and the bottom half of Dad's head. Dad is too tall.

Before I passed out, I must say, I enjoyed the sunshine. But I can't wait for the days that I can WALK instead of ride...then instead of chasing Cheyenne, Dad will be chasing me. -maddox
